Abstract
An energy storage system is a set of methods and technologies used to store electricity, electrochemical, chemical, mechanical, heat, wind, solar and many other forms of energy. The design concept behind this is to store energy so that the energy can later be used for useful functions. In the implementation of this electric suitcase, the time needed to charge the electric suitcase using a 12 V 200 Wp monochristaline solar panel is 6 hours. Testing the performance of this electric suitcase was carried out with variations in the capacity of the electric suitcase and a load of 300 Watts. Using this very effective electric suitcase can save on electricity bills because it uses renewable energy, namely PLTS as a source to fill the electric suitcase. In calculating electrical energy savings (saving kWH) using the price per kWH calculation, you can see the amount of savings if you use an electric suitcase with a household load of 1200 Watts in a month which can save up to Rp. 52,812,-. This electric suitcase is also equipped with IoT (internet of things) based equipment to make it easier for users to monitor the amount of electrical energy used and to regulate the switching on (on/off) of their electrical equipment.
