Abstract

ABSTRACT

Lately, occupational safety and health is an issue of global concern because every project activity certainly has potential risks, especially the risks that threaten the workers in the construction development project. As in the application of the HIRADC method in the construction project of the Proklamasi 46 Jakarta Office Building, it is very important to ensure the safety and health of construction workers.

This research uses quantitative methods to identify the risk of hazards that can occur by observation. After that, the risk is validated by 3 experts who will then be distributed to 30 respondents to get the risk level]of]each likehood and severity using the HIRADC method. The final]stage]of]this]research]is]to]find]out]risk control efforts by interviewing 3 experts. Data analysis using Microsoft Excel.

The results]of]risk]identification]and]assessment]with the risk]matrix of the pile cap work observed in this project are 18 risks, including 5 possible risks in the medium category, 12 possible risks]in]the]high]category, and 1 possible risk in the extreme category. The stage of work with an extreme risk level is the excavation work. Efforts are made to control the risk of hazards in this project by using the risk control hierarchy, namely]technical]control,]administrative control and personal]protective]equipment (PPE).
