PENGARUH SEKTOR KETENAGALISTRIKAN TERHADAP KETIMPANGAN WILAYAH DI PROVINSI BALI

Abstract

Disparities in regions result from a lack of distribution of regional development. This problem is emphasized by differences in the potential and management of resources and the availability of infrastructure in each region. Equality development in Bali Province has not been evenly distributed, triggering differences in regional development. The electricity sector is an important part of regional development in increasing economic growth. This research aims to a) analyze the regional inequality of districts in Bali Province in 2019-2023, b) analyze the electricity sector that affects regional inequality in Bali Province. This research analysis technique uses the theil entropy index and panel data regression. The variables used consist of the dependent variable, namely regional inequality, while the independent variables are social, household, business, and industrial customers. The results of this study show that a) regional inequality in Bali Province is widening; b) factors that have a significant positive effect on regional inequality include household, business, and industrial customers, while social customers have no significant effect.
