Abstract
This study aims to develop an automated waste management system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) with an Arduino platform, named RoverBin. RoverBin is designed to automate the waste collection process through sensors and intelligent algorithms, allowing waste to be transported from the starting point to the final location on a scheduled basis. This system also provides real-time monitoring and reporting of waste collection status, thereby increasing efficiency and responsiveness in waste management. The data measured include collection efficiency, success rate of transportation according to schedule, and quality of monitoring and reporting. The expected results are increased effectiveness and efficiency of waste management and public awareness of the importance of good waste processing. This implementation is expected to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through public education and improving the quality of a cleaner environment.
