Abstract
In industry 4.0, universities face challenges in managing varieties of different technology services and applications. Currently, many educational institutions face challenges in integrating various scattered assessment and learning systems, thus hindering the process of real-time student competency assessment and personalization of skill development pathways. The purpose of this study is to design an SOA model that can optimize interoperability between competency assessment system, skill development tracking, and learning activity recommendations. The method used in this research is a prototype by directly analysing the need for integration in various educational institutions. The results of this study are SOA-based applications that are efficiently integrated with student competency data, as well as improving accuracy in assessing and personalizing student career development paths and contributing to studies on information technology infrastructure development with a focus on information services for competency achievement in higher education.
