Model Buku Elektronik Interaktif berbasis Citra Digital dengan Pendekatan Metode Least Significant Bit
Main Article Content
Abstract
Electronic books currently have benefits equivalent to printed books, but the advantages of electronic books can be duplicated and developed into interactive media, and they can monitor and evaluate reading activities, whether known to the reader or unknown to the reader. In previous research on electronic book models based on text and images, implementation required a standard storage system, but this can still be made more valuable and efficient by utilizing image steganography using the least significant bit (LSB) method. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an electronic book application model that can insert data and provide data security indirectly. The aim of this research is to produce an electronic book model for educators so they can develop learning materials and monitor the interaction of each student's reading activities. Design methodology with a research and development approach to software engineering and databases on digital images. The stages used through recycling elements of analysis, design, and development. The results achieved are in the form of an electronic book model for educators to develop electronic book modules in the form of reading material and test forms, and for students who can access electronic books individually, they can provide image-based interaction information using the LSB method approach so that data storage is more efficient and safe.
